We recently hired Zacconi Contracting to combine two tiny bedrooms into one large room for our 10-year-old son, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsive—they got started almost immediately and completed the entire project in just over a week. The scope of work included removing a wall, electrical work, drywall repairs, refinishing the flooring where the wall had been, and completely reworking the closet space so it functions beautifully in the new layout. Everything was done with exceptional attention to detail. The real showstopper, though, is the paint job. We wanted a bold, custom geometric mountain design with crisp black lines separating vibrant blue and red sections. It was a challenging design that required absolute precision, and they absolutely nailed it. The finished room looks incredible and exceeded our expectations. As if that wasn't enough, they also went above and beyond by removing a tree from our yard at no extra charge and patching some damage in our hallway while they were here. Those little extras really showed how much they care about their customers and take pride in their work. It's hard to find contractors who are skilled, efficient, reliable, and genuinely willing to go the extra mile, but this team checked every box. Our son absolutely loves his new room, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality renovations. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had the great pleasure to work with Roberto and his team this fall to redo my backyard and convert my carport into a full-blown garage (which I am LOVING now the cold and snow has hit). I've included some before pictures of the right mess that was my backyard so you can see the transformation (Unfortunately forgot to take the pictures of the finished patio before the snow fell, but you can see the in progress shot). Rob is a true professional and everything happened on time and on budget as per the quote, even when little things (or not so little in the case of the stump he had to remove!) came up. The quality of the work is exceptional, and he was in constant communication on when workers would be on site, and the schedule of work. My wife and I are super happy with how everything turned out, and we are looking forward to working with Rob on our next project! If you want someone reliable and honest, Rob is your guy. Absolutely 100% recommend.

I had Roberto Zacconi handle the basement renovation in my new house, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. I can be pretty picky with details, but with Roberto, I never even had the chance to point anything out — everything was done right from the start. He’s very professional, knowledgeable, and you can tell he really cares about the quality of his work. What I appreciated most is how he involves you in every step. He always checks in before making decisions and makes sure you’re comfortable with everything. It makes the whole process smooth and stress-free. He also went out of his way to help beyond the core renovation work — coordinating extra electrical work through his electrician, connecting me with a cabinet company, and just being available whenever needed. He really goes the extra mile to make sure you’re satisfied. His crew is just as great — friendly, respectful, always in a good mood, and they keep the place clean. It’s clear they take pride in their work and follow Roberto’s standards. On top of everything, Roberto is just a genuinely nice and trustworthy person, which makes a big difference when you’re working on something as important as your home. It is with great pleasure to Highly endorse Roberto Zacconi for any construction or framing project you require. While building my custom home I interviewed several framing contractors. Although they were all very qualified I found Mr Zacconi to be very easy to talk to. He explained things very clearly and discussed issues on how the construction process would take place. He was also very reasonable with his cost estimate. During the construction phase Mr Zacconi and his workers were always very polite and courteous to talk to and answered all my questions. As with any construction project, there are always some things that require attention after the project is complete. When I called Roberto he would come over himself or send his workers within a day or two. Hence, without hesitation next time I have a construction project I will be calling Zacconi contracting.

We hired the Zacconi Contracting team to add an extension to the back of our house and significantly expand the kitchen. We closed off an office at the front of the house, added a huge entry closet and a massive pantry. The entire ground floor was expanded, renovated, and modernized, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the end result. Adding an extension is a complicated process. From surveys, to architectural diagrams, to permits, Rob and the Zacconi Contracting team managed the process from start to finish, on time, and on budget. Communication about status and next steps was always clear, and we never found ourselves wondering about what was going on. The Zacconi team themselves are clearly very skilled. As the owner-operator, Rob somehow manages to run the business while still getting involved with the actual construction. Chuck, Derek, and the rest of the team were so friendly and professional. They're incredibly hard-working and a real delight to have around the home while the construction was ongoing. The trades and subcontractors that Rob brought to the project were top-notch. Janice the architect drew up beautiful plans and worked with us to design the best solution. Jimmy the electrician inspired so much confidence with the quality of his work. Carmen from artistic painting is clearly a master of his craft, and helped to steer us towards paint colors that give a beautiful, regal appearance to the home. Kim and team paid real attention to the details when installing the kitchen. The whole renovation has changed our 25 year old cookie-cutter suburban house into a beautiful, modern space that will unquestionably stand the test of time. If you're thinking of doing a reno, my strong recommendation goes to Zacconi contracting.

We hired Rob and the team at Zacconi to do the framing for a screened-in porch. We wanted to do most of the work ourselves, but needed a contractor who was willing to do the initial heavy lifting - not easy to find as this was technically a smallish job. Rob agreed to the project and we are pleased to give he and his team a 5+ star review. They did exactly what we asked of them; the workmanship was great; they met the agreed upon schedule and stayed on budget; they communicated well with us; they left the worksite clean; the team was polite and courteous... and they worked in the worst possible conditions to get it all done as promised, managing through freezing rain, -29C cold, high winds and over the Christmas holidays.

Rob recently finished a restoration project of a bed and breakfast conversion to a 8 unit apartment building for us. Robert is a great guy to work with. We have used his services many times during the years. They are hard working guys regardless the difficulty of the task. They will never leave a job unfinished. Accuracy is Rob’s top priority, they use circular saws instead of chain saws where they can to produce a better product over all. Trustworthy and down to earth which is hard to find in a contractor these days.

We enjoyed working with Rob and the Zacconi Contracting team on a number of projects this fall. First was redoing the deck on our front porch with Trex and the job looks great. We then moved on to basement storage solutions and have more plans to work with them next spring - keep the great work!

I had a good experience with Rob's team that replaced a large beam in my garage so i could gain more ceiling height. They were on time and completed the work as per the estimate.

I want to first start off by saying I have no idea what that negative comment is about. My house got severely damaged in the storm back in May. Half of my roof needed to be replaced. After fighting the insurance Company, I finally got approval to move forward at the beginning of November. Being terrified that snow was going to collapse my roof I called Zacconi contracting. Rob understood the ergency right away and was at my house that night . Seeing as I have young children I was very concerned about this whole situation. He reassured me that it would get done very quickly and within 3 days they were here . They had to essentially take off half of my roof and rebuild it. The framers were unbelievable and gave me many suggestion that I wouldn’t have even thought about . They were kind and understanding . They showed up promptly and got it all done within 2 days ! And I was say it looks amazing ! They are also very careful and clean! They cleaned up my living room and front lawn to the point where it didn’t even look like I had contractors there ! They also took care with tarping my roof as they knew the roofers were not able to shingle for a couple of days and we were expecting snow ! If I could give zacconi contracting 100 stars I would ! They were the best experience I have ever had with a contractor and I would recommend them 1 million percent ! Thanks Rob and workers for all the hard work you did !

If I could give -5 stars I would. They are lazy. Take MUCH longer than any other carpentry company ever worked with. Removed VALUABLE materials after SPECIFICALLY telling them it was needed. Now leaving other workers to do everything all over again just because they’re lazy and cannot critical think do not go with this company.

Rob and his team were able to deliver a quality custom home build in what was a crazy timeline. The team got so big at times it felt like a barn raising party!

I’ve used Zacconi for over 6 years and will continue to use him. It’s rare to find an owner actually onsite and on the tools making sure it’s done right!

I couldn’t be happier with the work from Rob and his crew. I’ve worked with them on three major builds, and they continue to be my go-to framing company. Big, complicated projects are always stressful, especially when you’re trying to plan for future development and maximize what can be built on a property. Whether you’re a homeowner building your forever home or a developer trying to maximize density on a tight lot, these are the guys you want working with you. I especially want to thank Rob for making himself available and being present on-site whenever needed. Plans are one thing, but building in real life is another. When issues come up, they work with the plans, accommodate changes where possible, and help keep the project moving toward the finish line. Reliable, experienced and easy to work with.
